How to remove slash from link type menu item?

I had a few links in WordPress 3.7 like this: https://www.domain.com#about and it worked. Since WordPress 3.8, it automatically adds a slash before the id and it breaks the working link, so it renders like this: https://www.domain.com/#about.

How can I force WordPress to doesn’t add that slash? Many thanks!
