    Hello everyone,

On the Product Finder webpage https://guardianchem.com/product-finder/, it displays the products in a 3*3 format. The internal link to every product has an attribute of rel=nofollow.

If you right click any product and select Inspect, you could see the rel=nofollow. For example, if you right click the product ‘4 MENT PLUS’ and select Inspect, you could see the rel=nofollow

Although the rel=nofollow is not contained in the <h2> tag, the Semrush still detects it as a nofollow warning.

I wanted to remove the rel=nofollow, but did not find the proper way to do that.

Is the Semrush’s scanning result correct?

Does anyone know how to remove the rel=nofollow in the internal links?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello jichao2024?

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I have reviewed the Product Finger page.
It looks like the HTML for the Anchor Tag <a> is generated by either your theme OceanWP or Elementor page builder plugin. Therefore, I suggest you contact OceanWP and also Elementor about this.

I will be happy to assist you further once we hear back from them. ??

    Have a great day!

@doublezed2 Hello, thanks for the follow-up. I have consulted with Elementor, and they said it was a Woocommerce issue. Therefore, I came here to ask for help. I am confused now who can resolve this problem.

    Hey, @jichao2024!

Can you please switch to a default theme such as Storefront and check if the issue persists?

If it does, I suggest running a full conflict test.

You’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    — Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    — Also, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

    — It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

You can find more about this in this guide.

Please let us know how it goes!

    Have a wonderful day!

@carolm29 Thanks for your detailed guidance. I will keep your solutions. But after discussing with my manager, we decided to ignore this issue for now. We have stopped Semrush from scanning this issue, so it won/t impact our website auditing for now.

    Thanks!
