How to remove recent-post

  • Hallo,

    I am running my first wordpress pages and I have problem. I have main page with some text and three panels (text, text and recent-posts which is selected to be vissible only on this front page). But at other pages, where should be only the text, is vissible under the text alsou the recent-post panel and I dont know how to delete it.

    My second problem is I have image galery with images. I hvae menu with the name gallery, how I will put this gallery to this menu?

    I am sorry for my English, I am not so good in it.

    I forgot to tell you, I am using theme Twentyeleven, with my own bakground and so.
