How to remove "Proudly Powered by WordPress, Theme"

No, no, no. Don’t add it to the style.css file. It will go away as soon as you’ll update the theme. Add the following to your Simple Custom CSS plugin:

.site-info {
  display: none !important;
}

That will do.

Apologies, I missed it! Thank you @hardeep for correcting me. However, I would like to add here is using !important or removing site credits is not advisable. Please see:

@hozouria, I would suggest you to contact Simple Custom CSS so that the change in CSS will be as it is even if you change the theme in future.

How could I remove Proudly powered by WordPress,from twentyeleven theme ?
I tried that code.
It didn’t work.
