I know we have products on our shop that doesn’t apply for advertising, such as Alcohol and Tabaco.

But just like on Google Ads plugin, I thought I would be able to remove such products from synchronizing after catalog was created. I mean, on Google Ads for instance, I receive a warning for each product under this problems and I can disable all of them in a click.

At least, I wasn’t able to find anything like that on this plugin, I only get a message “Merchant does not meet our policy on prohibited products” and that’s it.

Even on Pinterest account I don’t have any option to analyze those products, all I can do about on my Pinterest account is contesting their decision, which I can’t do, otherwise I’m going to be reproved again and I only have two chances for it.

I would like to remove those products from the feed before doing such thing.

We have aprox 3000 products on our shop and 300 under this circumstance to be removed.

    Hi @leosantis

By default, there is no option or filter to exclude specific products or categories from the feed. However, you can try the solution shared here by modifying the XML feed.

In the meantime, it would be great to have you add your ideas as a feature request, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.

    Hi @shameemreza,

I aprecianted your answer. I’ve noticed on feature request list I’m not the only one asking for that, and all I did was voting for those already opened.

The idea you suggested would make sense if we had all products under this situation at the same category, in our case they are spread around 32 different categories that also have products ok to be advertized. Using that trick would take lots of coding hours to list every single product to be removed. And considering we have only “3 strikes” according to Pinterest, just a single product I forget on the list would make me banned.

Of course, Pinterest should make this much clear and easier for us but for now, we have to gave up Pinterest and keep our focus on Google Ads and TikTok that are by far much easier to deal with such issues.

    Thanks anyway.

    Hi @leosantis

I understand that manually excluding products distributed across multiple categories can be time-consuming and risky, given Pinterest’s policy. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve decided to focus on other platforms for now, but we hope to improve our plugin’s functionality to better serve your needs in the future.

In the meantime, I will mark this thread as resolved. Should you have further inquiries, kindly create a new topic here.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
