How to Remove “Poweredby” in Footer

    I want to remove powered by link from footer. I have added code but it is still appearing. So kindly tell me how to remove that.
    #site-info {display:none}

    If I had to guess I would say that the terms of the licensing of the free version means that you have to leave that footer in there. They are giving you a free theme but the price of free is that they get credit for it. It seems fair to me.
