    Hello,

I’m using the Goran theme, and I have been trying to remove the “posted on” and the comments facility on my pages. So far I have succeeded in removing the dates of posts (but not the words “posted on”, which I would also like to remove) and I have disabled the comments form (when I click on “leave a comment”, the link does not lead anywhere) but I would also like to remove the words “leave a comment”.

I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

    Thank you very much

  • We did the following few steps to accomplish this:

    Settings…general… uncheck “Anyone can register.”

Settings…Discussion… uncheck everything in the “Default article settings” section.

In the “Pages” screen that lists your pages, if you hover over an individual page, one option should be “quick edit”. Do that and uncheck the “Allow comments” box. Do this for every page (I think there’s a way to bulk edit this, but not sure).

Our pages do not show anything relating to comments any longer.

Thank you for this! I have unchecked all the above, but unfortunately I am still getting the phrase “leave a comment” at the bottom of the page, like before…

I just found a solution! I downloaded two plugins – Simple No Comment which removes everything relating to comments, and WP Author, Date and Meta Remover which removes the ‘posted on’ bit.
