How to remove Post Category Description in Mega Menu

  • Hi,

    How do I remove the description under the links on items in the mega menu? Im referring to the description under Shop > Plants on the main nav.

    I saw another post that asked the same thing but it was solved 2 years ago. It said “Mega Menu > General Settings and set Menu Item Descriptions to disabled” but its not in General Settings anymore. I checked settings on the actual menu item in ” Appearance > Menus > Mega Menu on the menu item ” but all I see is an option to hide all the text and not to hide the description.

    I even tried removing the text description in Products > Categories, and after clearing WP Rocket Cache and the cache of the website through the Sucuri Firewall and its still showing.

    Hi lvibarroy,

    You’re quite right, the setting has moved since then. You can find the option to disable descriptions under Mega Menu > Menu Locations. Expand the relevant location, and disable the descriptions in there.
