• This is really bothering me. I am trying to edit the above page.

More specifically, I am trying to remove the above two pictures and replace them with newer ones. However, when I go to the “edit page” all it says is [template id = “62”]! Where do I go to remove the pictures? How do I add new pictures in the exact same spot as these older ones?

I am very new to this and confused, so your help will be immensely appreciated. Please let me know the steps to accomplish this as soon as you can. Thanks!

  • Hi Timothy, are logged in into the WordPress Admin?
If not, you should go to https://coastaltownmoves.com/wp-admin/ login with your admin user and go to the Pages->about-us->Edit
There you can change anything you want for that particular page. If you place you mouse over the image, it will allow you to change it right there.

    Let us know.

When it says [template id="62"], that’s what WordPress calls a Shortcode. It’s basically a place-holder that tells the system to insert some other code in there.

What this means for you is that you’ll need to know how your theme (or a plugin) is set up to display that shortcode, and from there you’ll be able to figure out what the template ID refers to. This is something that realyl looks theme-specific as a standard WordPress site doesn’t have that sortcode, so you should probably ask your theme’s author what it means.

Im so happy to hear the responses.

Facupuig, yes ofcourse I was logged in as an administrator when I tried to edit the pages. But still, when I go to the “Edit Page” I do not see anything but a [template id=”62″] notice over a blank page. And that is what is confusing me. If I saw pictures in the “edit page” like I thought I would, it would have made my life easy as I would simply delete them and post new ones.

catacaustic, is this going to be difficult?

I don’t know how difficult it is. Your theme is a commercial one, so it’s not supported on these forums. You should be able to get the support that you need at the vendors support area.
