How to remove /listing-category/ from the url for categories?

For all the categories, if a slug name is given as xyz for example, the full url actually adds /listing-category/ before that.
So the url will be https://www.yourdomain.com/listing-category/xyz
How can I make it show/work as https://www.yourdomain.com/xyz

As far as I know it’s not possible because WordPress uses this permalink structure for regular pages, e.g. if you add the About Us page the URL will be example.com/about-us.
