how-to remove "leave a reply" at the bottom of pages

  • Hi,
    I’m helping someone make a website and they don’t want the “leave a reply” thing at the bottom. I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. Any help would be very appreciated.

  • Well, either you can disable comments globally via the admin panel -> discussions options.

    Or, you can simply use some custom CSS to hide the “Leave a reaply” text… assuming your theme permits.

    Which one would you prefer?

    Hi, Josh,

    I would think the discussion options would be easiest, but I can’t figure out what to do there. I unchecked everything that looks like it would help. What can I do there? Am I missing something?

    Otherwise, can you tell me how to hide it with CSS? Is that something I need a child theme to do safely? I haven’t figured that out yet.
