How to remove IP in mail notification

    is there a way to strip the IP notification in the mail footer due to data protection laws in Germany?

    To understand more what I mean:

  • @reeve Unfortunately that’s not possible to hide in the free version of the plugin (with Comment Mail Pro you have access to the Advanced Templates and you could modify this there).

    However, I agree that there should be an option to hide the IP address in notification templates, so I’ve opened a GitHub issue so that we can work on adding this to the next release; see: https://github.com/websharks/comment-mail/issues/288

    @reeve Just a quick update: In the latest release of Comment Mail (v160818, released today) the IP address has been removed from the notification email footer.
