    Hello,

I am trying to center my articles on my site Storiesofgeorgia.com so that there are no widgets on the side of the page. I want the article to stand alone on the post page and be centered on the screen rather than being off towards one side as it is now. The side bar with widgets, however, is in the way and is taking up part of the screen.

I went into the widgets section and manually removed all of the widgets from the sidebar; however for some reason the “search”, “archive”, and “meta” widgets remained in the side bar despite the fact that I removed them and that they no longer show up as part of the sidebar if I go into the widget section of my admin page.

This can be seen on this page, for example: https://storiesofgeorgia.com/2016/08/17/why-this-young-georgian-from-ushguli-left-the-city-and-returned-back-to-his-village/.

What can I do to remove this sidebar entirely so that there is nothing except for my article on the page? Is there something I should cut out of the code?

    Thank you for your time,
    George

Bump, does anyone have any advice? It doesn’t seem like such a difficult fix, I just can’t seem to figure it out myself!

Yes, you can use the fullwidth template on individual pages.
