• Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great day!

I would like to know how can I remove the “<article></article>” HTML tag when creating a new page.

  • Hi @thrombas666,

It’s part of the (HTML5) markup and it shouldn’t be deleted. I am not sure if your site will work as it should if you delete it.

Anyway, I don’t know why you would like to do this, but if you share with us the thing you would like to try to achieve, maybe we can help you with a proper solution.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

Thanks for your answer @bsfherman, hope you are having a great day so far…

Ok, what I’m trying to do is this:

I’m creating pages that are not exactly blog posts or news articles, they are more dynamic content, so I think using the <article></article> tag is not appropriate to use in my case.

So I would like to know if I can change the tag for <section></section> or a simple <div></div>.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

    Hi @thrombas666,

Have you tried creating a child-theme and then copy and modify the respective file? I am sure it will work.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
