How to remove font Awesome?

    Hi, thanks for the great theme.

    My question: How to remove font Awesome included the font awsome load in the hestia theme.
    Reason, google page speed: wp-content/themes/hestia/assets/font-awesome/webfonts/fa-solid-900.woff2

    i want to remove font awsome completly?

    It would help if you left a link to your website.

    If you’re using Hestia enhancements (menu, frontpage) then I’m not sure you can remove them completely. What I’ve noticed is that the frontpage icons are usually loaded locally, so there are no extra external requests slowing your site down.

    And don’t rely heavily on google page speed. GTmetrix. fastorslow and webpagetest will give you far more useful & real world results. 2 are .coms and the last one is a .org.

    Thank you for reaching out, you can’t easily remove the font as it’s loaded via CSS file and not added using wp_enqueue_style in Hestia which would make it easier to remove the style.

    Would you be able to share a link to the results of loading speed and the impact this style makes for the load of your website? Thank you!

    Thank you for your feedback. Not all that bad. I thought I just have to remove it from a date code and that’s good.
    If all of this is more complicated then I’ll leave it at first.
