• I recently noticed that each of my pages (including the home page) now has a banner/header/ribbon above the most recent post (this is a blog website). On the home page, it repeats the tagline I typed for site identity. On each of the other pages, it shows the page name on the left and a link to the page on the right.

I don’t want to display this information and cannot figure out how to remove them. This is the first time since I set up this website in December 2019 that these have shown up. Was this part of the recent OceanWP update?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hi @vnanny

It might be related to some theme update. I saw that you’re using an OceanWP theme. If so, try asking on their support page.

Otherwise, can you send a screenshot of what you’re seeing while editing a page? I noticed the component is called page-header.

Update: This issue was corrected with the next theme update. All good now!
