How to remove email icon from the footer of all my Posts, labelled “Admin”

  • Please help, I noticed that a round email icon is appearing at the bottom of all my Post pages. When clicked, it allows the viewer/user to email me directly. I really want to remove that asap. I have looked in the Theme and all footers and cannot see anything to turn that on or off. It says “Admin” above the round email icon. Many thanks,

    I managed to remove the icon with the email address by going into “Users – the each user account, and ticking “Remove email address from your author bio.”. However, I still cannot remove Name of the author which appears at the bottom of the page in fairly large text, but that is not critical. At least my email address is no longer revealed which will stop spam. People who want to contact the business can use the Contact form.

    Go to Customizer > Graphene: Display > Post Elements. Make sure the “Hide author bio” option is ticked.
