I am using WP 5.0.2. and the latest version of Yoast (free) with Gutenberg enabled.

On the page (and also post, I think) edit screen I see two boxes on the top of the central column (where the blocks appear), saying: “Do you want to preview what it will look like if people share this post on Facebook?”and “Do you want to preview what it will look like if people share this post on Twitter?” and so on. These advertising panels take away about 1/5 to 1/4 of my monitor height and make it very difficult to edit the page. They seem to appear on all websites where I use your plugin.

These boxes don’t have any “No” button, or “X” or anything to close them. Is there any way how to remove them? Thanks!

    Hi @camthor,

The only way to remove these ads is by buying the Premium version of the plugin. However, they should only be displayed in the social preview section of the Yoast Metabox. Can you please send us a screenshot of what this looks like on your site?

    Here is a screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HTHptaB.png

In the social preview section there is the same text again: https://pasteboard.co/HTHqs4x.png At that place I don’t find them obstructing. The problem is just the upper position.

    Hi @camthor,

Thanks for providing us with more information. We’ve received a similar report from another user in our Github repository here. It seems the problem might be caused by WPML. If you temporarily disable WPML, is the issue fixed?

If it does, please contact WPML support with the link to the Github issue so that they can be informed.

    Thanks for your fast reply!

I can confirm that I used WPML and disabling WPML resolves that issue (and so does disabling Yoast SEO). I will try to contact WPML so you can figure out together, which of those two plugins is the culprit.

Same here, and is very annoying.

@ambradesign WPML confirmed that they are aware about the issue and that they are working on a fix.
