how to remove content in footer?

    What theme is it? Where did you get it from?

    its a child theme and i bought it on an auction site

    You may have to ask at the auction site. If there isn’t any easily noticeable way to remove the credit, then it may be encoded, which is against Good Practices for themes, and thus … Kinda hard to debug without seeing the theme itself.

    Ask the theme makers. Pour through the files. Check functions.php for something calling wp_footer() and good luck.
