  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the broken theme folders in wp-content/themes.

    Hi Esmi,

Thanks so much for your reply and advice !

I wish it were that simple though.

There are no folders for these broken themes, only a text warning about missing files, see below:

    Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    57HTML5WPThemes_PLR Stylesheet is missing.
WPThemes PLR Sep09 Stylesheet is missing.

Nothing is active and there are no buttons of any sort linked to this text. As you may have gathered I am a total newbie, which is why I stupidly installed these broken themes in the first place.

They aren’t doing any harm, just annoying the heck out of me everytime I go to this page.

    Thanks,
    Mark W.

    Hi Esmi,

Problem solved, thanks to your advice !

I had to delete the file in wp-content/themes, as per your instructions.

You know, because I’m accepting cookies, wp dashboard just opens on auto and I was forgeting that all this is taking place inside my Cpanel.

    what a dodo !

    Thanks again,
    Mark W.
