  • I’m having the same problem – any suggestions or things that I’m missing?

    +1

Even deleting the plugin and reinstalling it doesn’t remove an authorised account..

Amazingly a parallel problem seems to apply on the twitter dev pages where it is impossible to actually completely delete an app once it has been created

we are living in a world of indelible ink here for some unknown reason ><

You need to go to your Twitter Account Settings -> Apps -> and Revoke access for the app you have created.

After that when you go back to Twitter Widget Pro setting screen, your twitter username will be in red asking to reauthorize.

You are not linked to the website anymore.

Ah super, thanks. After revoking access to the application I also can remove the application in the developer environment.

I have 2 authenticated usernames. 1 of them I don’t want in WordPress. I went into that Twitter account and revoked that app. Now in the Twitter Widget settings it says ‘@JKNetDesign – Reauthorize and There was an error checking your rate limit.’

    How do I remove completely?
