• In front of the heading text of a “new order” email I receive [ redundant link removed ]
The HTML mail is OK, but it is visible in the preview column of Outlook.
The subject line is OK, though.

I have not configured this, so where is this coming from?

    Hey,
Can you send a screenshot of this? I haven’t heard from others experiencing this. If you deactivate this plugin does this continue to happen?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Jan,

In the screenshot you see at top an example (circled in red).
The one below that one (circled in blue) was before we migrated our website and before we started using this plugin.

    Hey @mahyulan,
Is this only happening in Outlook? Outlook is one of the worst email clients for processing html. I can check with the developer and see if he knows of a way to resolve this.

    Kindly,

    Hi,
Some email clients pull in a preview of the content. They don’t always do a good job of this, it appears outlook is taking the link for your logo and outputting the HTML for that as if it were text. There isn’t anything in Kadence that can change this.

You can look at hooking in preheader text to woocommerce emails. (Perhaps this will be a feature we add in Kadence someday.)

Otherwise you can turn off the header logo link and then it should move along to your title inside the email template.

    Thanks for both answers.
Still strange that it didn’t happen on the old website, where I was NOT using Kadence.
But I was also using another theme, so I don’t know if that can be confusing to Outlook.

PS: I agree that Outlook is rubbish, but I cannot persuade my client to switch…
