How to Remove "Also published on Medium"

  • Hi!
    Is there anyway to remove the “Also published on Medium” text under every published post? I plan to put something else in that space and also have a different plan to promote our Medium page, so I’d really prefer the text to not be there.

    Is there any option to disable this?

  • We don’t have any plans in place to remove this at this time, but will take this into consideration for future planning of updates.

    In fact, if you turn off the cross-linking option, future cross-posted posts will not have the “Also published on Medium” link. In this case, because this is a reciprocal link, the link to the original post (“Originally published on original.com”) will not be added to the bottom of the Medium post.

    The cross-link option can be set by default on your user profile page, and on a post by post basis on the editor screen.

    May I ask how I can remove one myself?
    I’m putting more content on my blog and don’t crosspost the short updates to Medium. On an update it/I accidentally made it create the draft on Medium.
    Now I would like to remove the “Also published on Medium” link from one blog post, since it is not crossposted… https://agileety.com/monolith-mascots/
