I use MainWP with UpdarftPlus and am getting the following error under ‘current status / last backup job run’: ‘No settings were found – please go to the Settings tab and check your settings’

I have got (new) settings configured and saved which should backup to S3. This works for other sites on the MainWP console with UpdraftPlus. However the site I am dealing with will create the backup set locally but will then not upload despite a test connection to S3 not returning errors.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling updraft plus from the site I am trying to backup but to no avail as the settings seem to be retained on the domain from which I am controlling it (the MainWP admin console domain).

How do I delete all settings for one site so I can start again with a clean configuration?

OK – to answer my own question:

Checking the MainWP ‘child’ site directly on the domain itself I found that UpdraftPlus settings did not show the S3 access key and private key. When I set these on the child domain (they were set on the MainWP domain) and then ran a backup from the MainWP domain it went through and uploaded to S3 correctly.

Odd as previously I have never had this problem…

Would still like to know if it is possible to delete all settings from UpdraftPlus for a single domain when using MainWP to control multiple child sites.

    Hi,

There is a ‘Wipe Settings’ option in the ‘Advance Tools’ tab. This will reset all UpdraftPlus settings.

    when using MainWP

We have no idea what can be done through MainWP… we’ve never used it, and did not write the UpdraftPlus extension for MainWP. That’s a third party creation, so you’ll need to ask its creator if you have any questions about it.
