How to remove admin as author

I am creating a network of sub blogs – one per author but the author is not the admin and the admin is not an author.

So, is there a way to remove the admin as being listed under the blog author section of the wp admin bar?

I am using wordpress 3.3.1 and buddypress 1.5.3.1
