  • Remove the Meta widget from your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets.

A new WP download usually carries some in place sidebar widgets that you may not want and may be removed as esmi says.

Sometimes these widgets “stick” and their content shows even though the widget has been removed. A cure for this is to place an empty text widget in the position and the meta widget content goes away.

I want to remove one of the content link only (WP) on Meta widget. Not the whole Meta widget.

esmi, Appearance -> Widgets no way can do it.
vgvetter, how can I put empty text to hide WP text link on it?

Thank you both and still need your help.

You cannot remove a single link from the Meta Widget. It’s all or nothing, I’m afraid.
