How to remotely disable backups to remote storage?

Hi,

Best way is to ask the site owner to delete the settings.
Alternatively, try deleting the folder or change the folder permission. Though I am not 100% sure it will stop the backups from getting uploaded.

The best way is to not use the same S3 access key for each user, but to use a different key for each user. Then you can, in your Amazon AWS console, revoke permissions for any user whom you no longer consider authorised.
