How to release on a different channel

  • Hey guys, am I on the right thread? I got a plugin that I’m working on and is live on WP Repository. Do you know if I could somehow make a nightly release of some sort? Normally if I make a realease on the repo all my customers would be able to click “Update plugin”, but I am looking for some sort of hidden “Update plugin” such that the group of beta testers might have a look before officially releasing

  • No, the plugin repository is a production repository, not a development repository.
    You can use GitHub for communicating with users about development.
