Closed old WP.com site and Jetpack on new WP.org website was closed too.

Had a WP.com site hosted by WP.com with domain name https://ffrfmaine.org. Transferred to WP.org hosted by Blue Host and set up Jetpack on the new website, https://ffrfmaine.org (Note: This new site is a secured site). When I closed the old WP.com site I lost access to Jetpack on the new site.

I though WP.com and WP.org were separate but apparently not.

How can I reinstall Jetpack on the WP.org site without creating a WP.com site?

Hi @chapteradmin, WordPress.com and www.remarpro.com are separate. Jetpack connects the two, so that services from WordPress.com are available on your own installation. You would need a WordPress.com username and connection to enjoy all of Jetpack’s features.

Reinstalling the plugin itself, if it’s been uninstalled, should be pretty straightforward. Getting it reconnected if you removed your WordPress.com account could be trickier, but I’m sure we can help. Can you send any errors you’re getting?

Alternatively, you could reach out directly here so we can look up your account and what not:
