How to reduce size of Featured Image

The plugin will always import the largest possible image available via the respective APIs.

This will be the “full” sized image in your media library.

Your media settings (and possibly other code-based settings) will determine what additional image sizes get created.

Then, your theme will determine which image/s is/are actually rendered to the page.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you are trying to achieve?

P.S. You should reach out to the developer of your theme and encourage them to use the srcset attribute on tags (e.g. via get_the_post_thumbnailor wp_get_attachment_image) for a more performant experience across viewports.

Actually the problem is that I’ve set a plugin for email notifications to subscribers and when subscribers receive the email, image there is of full size 1280 x 720 which which is not good for them in their inbox.
On the other hand image on facebook page is automatically adjusted and on posts on my website theme also adjust the image size accordingly.

To solve the above problem I’ve to reduce featured image size I click Edit Post, Click Featured Image, reduce its size and save it then publish it.

Is there any other way?

Okay, so this isn’t really a question about / issue with the Video Curator plugin.

You need to figure out how to set whatever Email Plugin you’re using to use a smaller image than the full-size one.

If the plugin is well designed, it should have a setting or filter to allow you to choose which of your available image sizes (based on media / theme settings) you want to use in the email template.

To solve the above problem I’ve to reduce featured image size I click Edit Post, Click Featured Image, reduce its size and save it then publish it.

I would NOT recommend reducing any image sizes manually or otherwise (unless you have drive space constraints).

Let the full-size images be, and let WordPress resize them to the sizes set in the media settings and by the theme.
