How to reduce loads of spam?

Hi all,
I’m getting ca. 100 ‘comments that await moderation’ (and are identified correctly as spam) per day. How can I reduce these loads of spam? I get about 100 messages a day. I have Contact Form 7 version 3.5.3. Thanks for your help! Regards, Margitha
