  • Simplest way is to make your site SSL.

    If your site now serves only https requests, you can add your explicit domain name with https to your wp-config file, which is what we did. This basically tells wordpress, “everything is https” and so existing WP generated links all become https. Resave your permalinks, turn on/off the sitemap function in Yoast, should work, unless you have some funky external loading thing going on.

    The XML sitemap opens perfectly fine from the dashboard now but when I logout and reload the XML sitemap, it says page not found. What may be the cause?
