How to redirect to subdomain?

  • I currently have a subdomain site.sitetitle.com. I want to make so that when a user types in sitetitle.com/site to be redirected towards the subdomain site.sitetitle.com

    I tried it with a simple redirect, but it’s not working. It tells me about a loop redirect.

  • I’m not sure, you’ve created subdomain or not.

    This is the normal process:

    1. Create a subdomain from cPanel
    2. Assign a folder to this subdomain
    3. Setup wordpress over this subdomain

    That is my problem. I have created the subdomain site.sitetitle.com. I have assigned the folder site to my wordpress instalation for the subdomain. And now I cant redirect.

    Have you spoken to your hosts about this? It’s not really a WordPress issue.
