How to redirect a search query to an affiliate link

  • Hi everyone! How to redirect a search query from a wordpress search bar to another website? For example I want to lookup a phone number, but my site can’t provide the result, so I want to redirect the search query to my affiliate site which can provide the result. Is there a plugin can achieve this goal?

  • I have used a plugin that can redirect a specific URL to the latest blog post. However, I think you might be able to use a 301 WebFactory plugin and add the slug of the search query and redirect to the affiliate link.

    I setup a redirect from: https://tapnet.com/?s=lead+generation

    To this affiliate link: https://dripify.io/#a_aid=tapnet

    In the Query Parameters drop down I selected: “Exact Match all parameters in any order pass parameters to the target”.

    When you go to the above search now for “lead generation” it redirects to the external affiliate URL: https://dripify.io/#a_aid=tapnet

    Go ahead and try going to the my search URL to see.
