How to recount points after creating a new rank?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your amazing plugin ??

    I used GamiPress to set up a points award system on one of my websites. Users started to earn Points a few days ago.

    Today I wanted to set up some Ranks. These Ranks rely on the amount of Points.

    My problem is if I’m correct GamiPress doesn’t take into account all the points that were earnt before the Ranks were set up. Am I correct?
    If I am, is this possible to recount so users don’t start as if they had 0 point?

    FYI I’m using BuddyBoss.

    Hi @oreillemalade!

    Nice to talk to you today!

    The first rank you create, the lowest priority one, will be assigned for every user you have already on your site.

    You need to know GamiPress works by events. So if you create your points/achievements/ranks awards after some of your users already have completed them, they will not receive those points/achievements/ranks for events already completed. They will receive them in future ones.

    One thing you can do is give your users 1 points using our bulk awards tools to recount user’s points balances and then your ranks will be updated ??
