How to re-direct membres to new post page

    Hi,

    I am creating a website and would like to let users create new posts without going to wordpress dashboard. I also have a upload script that came with the theme. Is there any way I can create a new tab and re-direct users to that page (e,g mysite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php) so they can upload and create posts without going to dashboard.

    I added a menu item and re-directed user to “post-new.php” but it asks for login again and goes to the home dashboard.

    If thats not possible, is there a plugin that I can use that lets users go directly to new post page or creates a page with all options that are available in pst-new.php?

    I use adminimize to control the front-end access.

    I don’t think thats something that will be useful in this case. It just a way to limit whats active and whats not. I just want a way where use click on a button (e.g, upload game) and it shows the new post page where all options are available.
