How to raise page content so background not visible?

    I have the Elviria theme and Ive seen on any page that isn’t my home page the site is broken up into the menu header, then a background (in my case slightly grey with a white box in the middle) and then the bottom pane.

    The problem is that for each page the plugin that I’ve used to provide a parallax image with my page content on top has ended up being it’s own “overlay” onto the background with the background still visible above and below the plugin overlay.

    Essentially now I have:

    Menu bar
    Top of page background visible
    Preferred plugin with content
    Bottom of page background visible
    Bottom webpage pane

    I can’t work out a way to make the plugin essentially full screen to fill the gaps above and below where the Elviria background is visible. Can someone please assist?
