How to put sidebar widgets in a post with an existing theme

  • I am attempting to insert a widget sidebar within the posts on my page. The sidebar currently works while displaying pages or category lists. However, my Bizberg theme is not setup to display sidebar widgets within posts.

    Is there a way I can code the child theme to include my existing sidebar widgets into the post screen?

    I’m thinking I need to insert something directly into the post template, which is page-content2.php … or maybe functions.php.

    Any ideas?
