how to put google ajax apis into wordpress templates?

Hi, i’m trying to put my google image search ajax api javascript code into my single post php template right after the post content but i can’t! when i put the code and save the single post php file all the post content disappears! no title or no post body! i want to put the code after the “<?php the_content(‘<p class=”serif”>Read the rest of this entry »</p>’); ?>” code. i’ve tried different ways but no success! fro example i’ve saved the ajax code as a php file and tried to include it after the post content but still i lose all post content (title, images, next and prev links etc.) any ideas ?
