Under Site Settings>Background, I have defined a background image that goes automatically on every page edited with Elementor.?? Now I have a need for one of the Elementor pages to not have the background image.?? Is there a way to turn if off for a particular page, and have no background image at all?

Then, if that’s possible, can I put a different background image on different pages?

    Thanks.

    Hi, @dixonds.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Disabling a background for a specific page is not currently a native feature. I am submitting this idea as a feature request for our developers.

It is possible, however, to set a different background for individual pages. You can do this by configuring the background under the Page settings on the specific pages on which you want a different background:

    https://elementor.com/help/page-settings/

You may be able to disable the background using custom code. Since custom code is beyond the support scope of this channel, I invite you to check out our global Facebook community where developers, designers and Elementor experts are always on hand to offer solutions and suggestions.

You can also opt to visit our Github account, which is monitored by our developers, and post your inquiry. Please note that this is not an official support channel but a respective member of the development team will respond to your post as soon as they are available. Please follow this guide which outlines the steps required to post on our Github: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/blob/master/.github/CONTRIBUTING.md

    Hope this helps!

    Kind Regards.

Not really. I had tried that page Featured Image thing before, and no image showed up on the page. Couldn’t find any Page Featured Image element to put on the page either. I found a workaround though. I got rid of the Site Background Image and placed a fixed image with z-index = -1 on the pages I want a background image on. It looks just the same.

I have no Facebook account, so I think the Global Facebook Community is beyond my reach. When I was trying to learn 3-D modeling a few years ago, GitHub only left me dazed and confused and I could never find anything I needed to know there, so I shy away from running loose in there.

Thank you for your kind suggestions. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Sincerely.

    Hi, @dixonds.

    Thanks for your reply.

To make sure we’re on the same page, please note that you would NOT use the Featured Image option in the Page Settings, as in the following image, to set the page background:

    https://prnt.sc/H0HlszwmuYzQ

Instead, you would need to go into the Style tab of the Page Settings and select an image there, as in the following:

    Kind Regards.

Thank you, aracelil. But, sadly, all my Page Settings Style Tab offers for background is Classic or Gradient, no Image.?? The workaround I have already applied will have to do.

    Sincerely,
