How to put Category Widget in Nav Bar Header

  • Hello,

    I use the standard IGNITE Theme and want to REMOVE the sidebar from my Main Home Page Completely (which is no problem), but I want to place the CATEGORY WIDGET in the Top Header alongside the Main Menu Navbar.

    Somehow, I cant find out how to move the CATEGORY Widget to anywhere other than the SIDEBAR. Does anyone know how to work around this?

    To remove the sidebar from the homepage, visit the homepage in the editor and switch to the Full-width page template from the Page Attributes section: https://screenshot.competethemes.com/bLuweNQE

    Widgets need to be contained in designated widget areas, and I’m afraid there isn’t a widget area beside the sidebar in the Ignite theme.
