How to put captcha on 'subsribe without comment' ?

    Hello Team,
    a user klicks on ‘Subscribe without comment’ and is redirected to a page where he only needs to write his email.
    This litle form does not have a captcha and so we are getting spam-emails which will create an error-e-mail e.g. “Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender”.
    This is bad for reputation-issues.

    Please how can we get a captcha there ?

  • Hi @uwe,

    Having a captcha in StCR is out of the scope of the plugin. StCR have an option name double check, that option send an email to the user to confirm the subscription, if the user does not confirm the subscription then the subscription will be deleted in a time, that time is set also under the option tab.

    Is there any plugin, which will set a captcha there ?

    There are a few, but something better is not to use a captcha and use Cleantalk in junction with Akismet, this two plugins filter a LOT spam.
