How to put blog into section of homepage

Think I know how to do this, but my brain isn’t feeling very awake today!

I have a site at https://www.marble-design.co.uk and I want to install a blog into the lower section of page (where big space is).

On an old site I installed a blog in a separate page. If I want to install it in the space in the homepage do I just do the same as before but put wordpress files in root directory?
