How to put a different header on each category?

  • I’d like a different header on each of my categories. I’ve noticed a lot of questions already posted about this, but I don’t get what they’re talking about. (What is a header.php and how do I get to it?) I am a bit technically challenged, so if someone could just explain exactly how to do this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

    what you’re asking is pretty dang technical, if you don’t know what header.php is (and that’s not even where you need to be tweaking!) then i’d wait until you can afford to hire a developer to do it for you.

    you’ll probably need to create a php loop to check the page/post name and assign a specific image to it. i wouldn’t want to try and code that myself!
