How to pull image from current theme

Hi,

Instead of putting like this

a href=”URL”><img src=”full image url”></a

is there another way to display image so we don’t have to modify the img src url. I’m forgot how to do that though. Another word, if we’ve changed the theme or images folder names, the image is still showing.
