how to publish multiple drafts at once?

  • I’ve just imported 270 odd posts into wordpress.com and they have all kindly appeared under drafts. This wouldn’t be a problem if I knew how to publish them all at once but this simple functionality is currently eluding me. As I don’t feel like manually publishing 270 posts can anyone tell me how to publish multiple drafts at once using wordpress.com?

  • On the Edit Posts page, click on the checkbox at the top of the left-most column to select all the posts on the page, then select Edit under the Bulk Actions dropdown. Click Apply and change the Status dropdown to Published, then Update Posts. You might have to do that a few times, I’m not sure how many posts display per page, but it’s better than doing 270 by hand ??
