How to protect page with emails from robots and spammers

I have a page with email and data that users leave for others to communicate with them (for example to find room-mates). It just hit me that these are exposed to the public (duh) and therefore spambots etc.

What I’d like to do is to have an intermediate page that checks if the user is legitimate, like a captcha that upon correct answer it will redirect to the users page.

How can I do that? I’m also open to other safer suggestions.
