How to properly set email settings for use of Contact 10 contact form

Hello,
I have been playing with the email settings to make Contact 10 contact form work on my site. I do not know where to start as there is no documentation for this and chat support on Themeum had no information to add. Please give me explicit steps in making this form functional in its role of receiving and sending emails. Also, it would be great if someone could explain to me what all this code means on the screen capture that I have attached and how to customize how the contact form operates. I want to learn ??
