Hi! I am trying to set up a chat “page” on our website but when I give it a long prompt as context it does not seem to be working. For example I want it is start off by saying “Hi welcome to my page” and then only respond when the person chatting asks specific questions. All of this is in my prompt and it works in ChatGPT, but not when I use it in the plugin. Do I need to do this with the “secret prompt”? If so, can you explain to me how to do this and where to put the code?

    Hi,

Can you write your shortcode here so that we can discuss it? Just to make it clear ?? Normally, you shouldn’t use something like “Hi welcome to my page” in the context, it should be used in the start_sentence. So yes, I would like to have a closer look to what you do exactly.

I think I figured it out with the secret prompt but the text goes right off the page. How can I make is so that the text wraps within the container?

Also is it normal that it behaves differently than chat Gpt? I am using the exact same prompt but it performs differently. Could it be because it is using DaVinci instead?

Actually, every model behaves differently. We’ll see when OpenAI makes ChatGPT available through their API, but I still think it will also behave differently from their “conversational chatbot” (that said, I can’t wait!).

It’s not supposed to do this; also, I am not sure why you use the secret prompt in this case. I think it would be easier to understand if I could access your chatbot, and even better if you share the shortcode here ??
