How to programatically use different From name and e-mail

Hi,

WP Mail SMTP overwrites From name and email only if they are default: [email protected] for email and WordPress for name.

If you want your plugin to send with other FROM values, you just need to define those values in $headers variable and pass it to wp_mail(). Check the official documentation in WP Developer Code Reference.

I am setting the from headers manually:

$headers[] = "From: Foo <[email protected]>";

However, the plugin seems to be overwriting that with the values set in the WP Mail SMTP settings.

Ideas?

Any ideas?

I just wanted to confirm that, even if I set the From headers manually, the plugin is overriding them.
